Day 60

Grandma is such a joker. She kept saying 'Poo poo...' just to make me smile for her. Wait till she checks me below. : P

Monday 30 July 2007

Day 59

A few thousand sunrises to go, then I lose my lovely locks to some burly Army barber and spend the next few years learning to "TAKE COVER!" Better start now. Uh, uncles, when you "take cover" do you close your eyes?

Sunday 29 July 2007

Day 58

Guess what i had today besides milk? Its called honey, and hey, its nice! Great-grandma coated my pacifier with it after I bawled, hmm.. one more trick up my romper sleeve : )

Friday 27 July 2007

Day 56

I gave grandma the day off, and made mummy carry me all day. Behaving like Donald duck Trump, at least I have more hair than the guy.

Thursday 26 July 2007

Day 55

Daddy's trumpet stopped but he started making these raspy noises and finally went to see a doctor, i hope he gets one of those pokey things near the bumper like i did recently, while I bask in the nice morning sun. Hey, see any chest hair?

Wednesday 25 July 2007

Day 54

Happy birthday aunty Li Chin!
You guys get cake, where's my milk?

Tuesday 24 July 2007

Day 53

My next attempt to crawl, got the head up - check. mittens forward - check. Now, if only i can figure out what to do next.HELP!

Mummy bought me a new music box today, it plays that twinkle whatever tune, better smile to show my appreciation, as daddy says, people clap at operas but half probably don't know when it started or ended.

Monday 23 July 2007

Day 52

Monday blues... this is what you old folks call it? This is the look? But my Aunty Jo usually looks like this already on Sunday night... I am confused...

Sunday 22 July 2007

Day 51

Okay, maybe i'm too young to retire, but how about if i lift one little finger to help? Sure beats having my legs hauled up when my rear bumper gets wiped.

Saturday 21 July 2007

Day 50

Yawwnnnn! Daddy and mummy went off to some dragon boat thingy, so here I was left all alone with grandma, at least mummy wasn't home to stop me bullying grandma. heh heh heh.

Later I went to my great-grandma's (daddy's) house for the first time and received more red packets, soon I will be rich enough to retire.

Friday 20 July 2007

Day 49

boo hoo hoo... why haven't the fun days arrived yet?!!

Thursday 19 July 2007

Day 48

Strange, what's daddy doing at home today? Oh yeah... mummy's got an appointment. This is really confusing, how many bright and dark days before the two fun days of being carried and treated like royalty?

Wednesday 18 July 2007

Day 47

Did someone just say "yen dao"?

Tuesday 17 July 2007

Day 46

Grandma's polished knees make for the best chair in the world. Daddy says his office chairs are older than the original King Kong movie, and most are falling apart or the paddings are even thinner than my size S diaper... lucky me!

Monday 16 July 2007

Day 45

Back in the rocker (sound like an old man eh?), notice day 43's missing? We were all zonked out recovering from Sunday's fun outing.

Sunday 15 July 2007

Day 44

Finally, here I am with my grand-aunt, Sally, in my first sit-up photo; while I was at it, I also made my first 'deposit' at my great grandma's home. They said it was good luck but I say "GOOD LUCK" to the people smelling my poo poo.. :p

This was quickly becoming a day of firsts. Aunty Sarah actually posed for the camera willingly; to the tune of Josh Groban's You Raise Me Up, here's a big heads-up for the fans.

Check out my Sarah godma! She is pretty, hardworking, diligent and thoughtful...but too late, someone 'reserved' this rare jewel already. : ) Well, if you insist, maybe can share more about Aunty Abigail next time..

Friday 13 July 2007

Day 42

Finally getting the hang of this bouncing net thing. Sure beats being left in the play pen... at least there is more to look at than the white piece of ceiling and a big windmill that is supposed to keep me cool..

Thursday 12 July 2007

Wednesday 11 July 2007

Day 40

Ah... a day of sleep. The pacifier worked for a little while, but I must say its an accquired taste. So Mr Monster spent the whole night keeping the folks company.

Tuesday 10 July 2007

Day 39

Today I was given my first pacifier. It took quite a bit of getting used to, makes me want to chuck the yoghurt. What would you expect? The thing tastes completely bland, and all that sucking is getting me nothing. The water that daddy passes off as milk occassionally tastes even better.

Monday 9 July 2007

Day 38

I'm Back!!!

Sunday 8 July 2007

Day 37

Yes, this romper says "MONKEY". It should be "Piglet" since I was born in the year of the pig, but daddy and mummy made me wear this to church today to tell everyone what a monkey I am... boo hoo... I pooped twice to show 'em heeee...

They are now apparently on the look-out for one that says "MONSTER". I wonder why?

Saturday 7 July 2007

Day 36

Asleep in great-grandma's (ah jhor) arms after my first church wedding and service. The lights and ceiling fans in St Andrew's Cathedral are so enchanting for little guys like me.

Congratulations uncle Larry & aunty Jenny!

Friday 6 July 2007

Day 35

Did you notice Day 34's missing? The folks were so busy that everyone thought someone else had taken my pictures for the day. Well, here's my mulling expression, wondering what I looked like yesterday... this is also my constipated look, when I don't feel like burping. Hey, it lessens the feed!

Thursday 5 July 2007

Day 33

'allo? See what I've got! Aunty Cindy's bought me a whole bunch of new rompers now that I've grown so much. This one's a little contrived isn't it? But its sure true, grandma loves me!

Wednesday 4 July 2007

Day 32

Habakkuk 3:19 "The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights."

My changing station was rotated yesterday so that I won't kick and knock myself silly, and today I managed to kick all the way across my playpen. Progress!

Monday 2 July 2007

Day 31

Daddy took a day off to recuperate, but I was such an angel last night, the expected wayang was a no-show heehee.. so he spent the whole day with mummy and grandma unwrapping all my presents.

Thank you uncles, aunties, kor kors and jie jies!

You've certainly spoilt this little guy silly, I'm so blessed to be loved by so many people! I don't know which toy to chew on first, and since I don't have teeth yet, I'll probably just suck on them : )

Daddy says I've also got so much cash in ang pows I can buy a little island, but better yet, I'll pay my first tithe to God this Sunday, and daddy will put the rest into an FD for me.

But most of all, thank you for taking time to be there for me, I'm sorry I slept through a fair bit of the day, or had to latch onto mummy at times; I'm still on the NY time zone...

Thank you too, great grandma for the red eggs, grandma for the vinegar-ed pork and arranging this whole event and the catering (I promise I won't bully you for a week), grandpa for being the driver, deliveryman, cameraman, host... aunty Cindy and uncle James for the beautiful decorations, aunty Jackie for the yummy longan jelly (looked really good, but nobody let me try though they said so) uncle Benny for slaving all afternoon in the kitchen (someone asked daddy if you were the caterer) tending to the refills, uncle Terence and aunty Jo for the drinks.
And most of all, I thank God for making everything possible!

Sunday 1 July 2007

Day 30 - Baby Shower!

How nervous can a little guy get? I woke up this morning feeling all cold and clammy, afterall it was going to be my first big day! Then I realised I'd wet myself.. oops...

I kept asking questions all morning but everyone at home was too busy in a frenzy moving things to answer li'l me. What kind of party was it going to be?!

Well, it turned out to be quite a big one, almost 200 people came though not all at once, otherwise the bungalow would have burst open..

There's daddy looking all trim, thanks to me he's lost a few kilos : )
